It doesn’t matter how many times I do this assignment it always starts out the same way. Walking around for about a hour before I even take the first shot. Once I get that first photo my awkwardness and nerves finally calm and everything seems to come just a little easier. One of the things I try to work on each time I take a photo of a stranger is to slow down. SLOW DOWN. Look around. Where is the light best? Where’s the best back drop? See the person. Talk to them. Listen to them. Be natural

This past weekend Adam, Nathan, and I took a little trip to Johnson City to visit some friends from high school. We had such an amazing time. Its always a great time when I can catch up with my fellow MJ lady bears!!! Of course I brought along a few cameras to document our little trip. It was my first attempt at the GoPro and so bare with me.
